The Aquaphor filter is used as an external filter. This system provides the
conditions that prevent the formation, accumulation and development of
microorganisms on the surface of the filter material, which is one of the main
differences and advantages of the proposed water treatment scheme over
conventional filtering schemes, including micro-, ultra- and nanofiltration. The
studies included optimization of conditions combining electrochemical activation and
processing of the coal filter.
The efficiency of the electrochemical treatment of water depends on the amount
of electricity passed, which is proportional to the current strength and inversely
proportional to the processed water flow rate through the anode and cathode
compartments of an electrochemical cell. Physical - chemical properties of water held
electrochemical activation at different flow rate (without further filtration carbon
filter), are given in Table 2.
Measurement results showed that the maximum relative changes of parameters
characterizing the process ehlektrohimicheskogo impact were under the regime of
flow 40 dm3/h, which is selected for further experiment.
