of water purification in IZUMRUD compared with other known methods.
As part of an electrochemical system for use at the stage of water treatment,
research modes of operation, providing reception of the set parameters, experienced
installation IZUMRUD series with a variety of technological water treatment
schemes.
In a study in a selected circuit further included stage water filtration through a
charcoal filter to remove particulate matter insoluble carbonates al. Compounds
formed during processing in the cathode chamber and active chlorine compounds.
Such water treatment scheme is implemented in the installation IZUMRUD - K1,
additionally equipped with an external carbon filter (Figure 3).

Differences technological scheme is a sequence of processing steps (Figure 1).
The result of the work - the choice of the installation scheme, which provides
processing of tap water in the sequence:

anodic treatment to disinfect water (oxidation of organic impurities,
destruction of microorganisms, microbial toxins destruction);
-
treatment of water in the flotation reactor to remove coagulated products
anodic treatment bubbles of oxygen and ozone;
-
water treatment in a catalytic reactor packed with granules of the carbon
material (catalyst) to convert the chlorine-oxygen compounds (hypochlorous acid
hypochlorite ions) to hydroperoxides;
