electrochemical activation: modular electrochemical reactors - a versatile tool in the
hands of researchers and an entirely industrial electrochemical devices for a variety
of environmentally friendly technologies. This concept is the practical development
and is now the basis for any new projects in the ECA.
In VNIIIMT electrochemical activation began to develop since 1987. At this
point, it was already known more than three hundred inventor's certificates and
foreign patents (USA, Canada, Holland, Germany, Japan) in the field of technology
and echo cancellation technology and applied aspects of its use; the sources of
scientific-technical and scientific-popular information already published hundreds of
articles on the electrochemically activated solutions and water; We were already
protected dozens of candidate, several doctoral theses on the use of ECA in various
technologies; there experience in the development and organization of serial
production with the subsequent introduction in the industrial processes of
installations for electrochemical activation of water capacity from 25 000 to 1000 l/h.
It is characteristic that the first installation for the electrochemical activation of
water (UEV-6), industrial production in 1978, which has mastered the Kokand plant
"Bolshevik" (Uzbekistan) had the best performance of 20 000 l/h at the consumed
electric power of 30 kVA. original water salinity range for this installation was from
5 to 50 g/l. Designed setting Elkhan - 003, serial production of which was organized
in 1986, the NGO "East" [5, 6, 13] (Tashkent), had a capacity of up to 1000 l/h and
could provide effective unipolar electrochemical treatment of water with a salinity of
0 3 to 300 g/l. Installing electric power consumption was 1kVA. Reducing
performance systems while increasing their efficiency due to the fact that the
practical application of ECA technology was possible only with the technical
electrochemical systems with low specific energy consumption. They provide the
maximum degree of metastability dilute solutions as a result of unipolar
electrochemical treatment, can operate in a variety of hydraulic circuits without
structural change and have considerable resource of continuous work. Such a flow
system electrolytic modular elements TEM-1 were created by the authors [5, 6, 13]
in 1989 in VNIIIMT. On this basis, we developed flow-through electrochemical
reactor RPE used in the first experimental samples of STEL devices for synthesis of
electrochemically activated sterilizing, disinfectant and washing solutions and
installations "Izumrud" for the purification of drinking water. Later, the same authors
have developed more sophisticated flow electrolytic modular elements - TEM-2 and
TEM-3. Currently, all electrochemical systems produced by the NGO SCREEN
(VNIIIMT) include electrochemical reactors based on FEM elements - 3.
During the period from 1987 to 1997 by a team of VNIIIMT it was created
more than 100 inventions, have opened new possibilities for further development of
technology and echo cancellation technology. Organizational all work in the field of
