All studies were performed on films, powders and polymer solutions.
Organic-inorganic hybrid systems. Their synthesis - hybrid system was
performed by mixing an aqueous solution of PVA and PVP with PVK TMOS
content of which ranged from 10 to 90 wt% relative to the polymer. Total initial
concentration of the components in the solution is 2-12 wt%. Mixing was
carried out on a magnetic stirrer for 5-10 min. The solution was then placed in
photocolorimeter cell Ubbelohde capillary viscometer, a petri dish for studying
processes of gelation and phase transformations.
Drying the hydrogel obtained by solvent evaporation was performed under
ambient conditions to constant weight, and then in a desiccator and with
desiccant in a vacuum at a residual pressure of 10 "5 mm Hg.
Filled Polymer - inorganic systems. Mixing aqueous solutions of PVP,
PVA and PVC with aerosil performed long (2-4 hours) stirring the components
using a magnetic stirrer. Aerosil content per polymer ranged from 2 to 30 wt%.
